Our Story
Founder Gene Tucker launched Tucker & Associates Staffing in 2015 after years of recognizing a gap in how recruiting was being done. He saw too many hiring processes become transactional—missing the human side of staffing. With a clear mission to change that, he set out to build a firm rooted in real relationships, not just metrics.
Gene is a graduate of San Diego State University with a background in business and talent acquisition. Today, he leads a close-knit team of three sourcing professionals who share his vision for thoughtful, high-integrity recruiting. Together, they focus on making meaningful matches between employers and job seekers, grounded in cultural fit and long-term success.
What makes Tucker & Associates different isn’t just experience—it’s our connection to the community. Gene teaches a job skills class at the Redwood Gospel Mission and is on the Board of Directors for Life Springs Missions, dedicated to providing clean water to rural African villages.
